Steam Tractor

The only identification on this photo says simply 'Ed Jessup.'  This may be
the owner of the steam tractor, and/or the man in the photo.  The tractor is
apparently hooked up to, possibly, a threshing machine by means of the large
belt extending out of camera range.  These thresher/tractor combos were not
necessarily owned by each farmer, but by one farmer who went around from
farm to farm at harvest time.  Note the draft horses on the right, which continued
as a source of power for plowing and cultivating well into the 20th century.
